Selected as Falling Walls 2020 Finalist

‘Makings of a Malignancy’, our cancer biology-themed escape room was selected as a finalist at Falling Walls 2020, the World Science Summit. We entered our activation into the Science Engagement Brreakthrough of the Year category with a 3-minute video explainer that you can see below.

Although 2020 has been a challenging year for physical immersive pop-ups due to COVID19, it’s great to see that our escape room is still having an impact at an international level. To be even considered in this list is impressive to me knowing that there were over 240 applications from 73 countries.

The top 10 and Science Engagement of the Year will be announced at the World Science Summit in Berlin, Germany in early November 2020. Will Makings of a Malignancy be selected as a winner?
